Feed the Children exists to end childhood hunger. It’s the cause upon which they were founded on and fight for.
Food for the Hungry (FH) is a Christian organization serving the poor globally since 1971. They reflect the love of Christ in short-term emergency relief and long-term work to end world hunger.
The mission of Dream for Nations Incorporated is to lead indigent peoples to a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and teach them to be self-sufficient.
This is a prison ministry that was started by Mike Barber in 1986. They do 2 main things.
1. They are a ministry fulfilling God’s word as we walk cell-to-cell even unto the least of them, sharing the good news of our Lord and Savior.
2. They also have “church” services that are televised from inside prison on weekly, world-wide networks.
The purpose of the wounded warrior project is to
- To raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members.
- To help injured service members aid and assist each other.
- To provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.
The Gideons International is an Association of Christian business and professional men and their wives dedicated to telling people about Jesus through sharing personally and by providing Bibles and New Testaments.
Heart and Hand House, Inc., a non-profit mission project affiliated with the United Methodist Church, is located in north central West Virginia and provides emergency assistance to the residents of Barbour County. Their ministry programs include a food pantry; a home repair and construction program; assistance with utilities, rent, and certain medical expenses; providing layettes for newborn babies; and a backpack feeding program for local school children.
